Brandt Pines Ski Trail
Governor Knowles State Forest

The Brandt Pines Ski Trail system is located about 1 1/2 miles west of Grantsburg on Highway 70, then north 6 miles to the trail head. A registration station is located on the trail just off the parking area and trail users are requested to sign the register.

These trails were designed and constructed specifically for cross-country skiers in mind. However, the trails are also used by backpackers and hikers in the summer months. All the trails run through woodlands and are gently to moderately rolling. The trails are all well-marked. (Follow the blue and white cross-country ski symbol.)
