Did You Know It?

Stor-Olson was up from Trade Lake last Thursday and made the SENTINEL a most pleasant call. It is nearly two years since we saw "the richest farmer" in our southern suburb and he appears as happy and jovial as ever.

A.E. Nelson and Martin Giswold started overland last Saturday for Cambridge and other Isanti County points. Mrs. Nelson went by rail to meet them at Rush City and drive from there with them. They returned Tuesday.

Arnold Peterson, son of Mr. and Mrs. B.J. Peterson of Wood River, had the little finger of one hand badly crushed in the gearing of a fodder cutter one day last week. The finger was amputated Tuesday. He is under Dr. Withrow's care.

Rev. M. A. Packer, district missionary of Eau Claire, will preach in English at the Baptist church Sunday forenoon at 11 o'clock and 7:30 in the evening. He will probably hold services every evening the following week. Everybody cordially invited

A.P. Nelson has been circulating a list this week for the signatures of those who would put in electric lights if a plant is installed here. About 300 lights besides the village lights would have to be used in town to make it pay to put in the kind of plant that is contemplated.

The Excelsior Co. shipped two carloads of their products last week. A carriage manufacturer, of many years experience, who took one car load, said it was the best lot of excelsior that he had ever seen. The company is making all efforts to sustain the good reputation their excelsior has received.
