Program Overview
The Burnett County Forestry Department administers an active timber sale program to harvest mature forest stands or to thin immature stands. Timber sales are designed by foresters using recognized silvicultural procedures.

Active Timber Harvest
Sales are sold through competitive biddings and harvest is controlled by provisions of a written contract.
