A WI State Trail Pass is required for bicyclists 16 years of age or older to ride the Gandy Dancer Trail. You do not need a pass when hiking.
Daily passes are $5.00 and an annual pass is $25.00. These passes are valid on any state bike trail in the state of Wisconsin.
8 different vendors sell passes throughout Burnett County:
Holiday Station Store-South, The Lodge at Crooked Lake, Peggy's Fashion Rack, and Yourchuck's True Value.
Ace Hardware, Webster Cog & Sprocket, & NW Passage-In a New Light Gallery
Log Cabin Store
Disabled vets and former POWs may obtain a free trail pass by following this link: dnr.wi.gov/permits/veterans
The regular conservation patron license includes state trail pass rights, so a separate state trail pass is not needed.
