NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice of Public Hearing, State of Wisconsin, County of Burnett, Tuesday, March 7, 2006, at 9:00 a.m., at the Burnett County Government Center in Room 165, Meenon Township, Siren, Wisconsin, regarding the following proposed conditional permits, sanitary variance and land use amendment to the Burnett County Land Use Ordinance:

Public notice is hereby given to all persons in the Town of Swiss, Burnett County, Wisconsin, that Vicki and Dale Uthe have made application for a conditional permit per the terms of the Burnett County Land Use Ordinance for a tourist or transient rental dwelling, located in the RR-3 zoning district, on Lot 4 CSM V.17 P.140 in the SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4, Section 25, T41N R16W, Town of Swiss.

Public notice is hereby given to all persons in the Town of Oakland, Burnett County, Wisconsin, that Merritt and Teresa McDowell have made application for a conditional permit per the terms of the Burnett County Land Use Ordinance to reopen a quarry/gravel pit, located in the A-2 zoning district, in the SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 and the W 1/2 of the SE 1/4, Section 9, T40N R16W, Town of Oakland.

To rezone the NW 1/4 of the SE 1/4, Section 19, T38N R14W, Town of Dewey, from A (Exclusive Agricultural with a minimum lot area of 35 acres) to A-4 (Ag/Forestry/Residential with a minimum lot area of 40 acres with a one-time additional split of a 1 to 5-acre parcel per 40 acres) zoning district. Public notice is hereby given to all persons in the Town of Roosevelt, Burnett County, Wisconsin, that Benjamin Murphy has made application relative to a proposal to vary the terms of the Burnett County Sanitary Ordinance as follows: To install a holding tank instead of an in-ground sanitary system, located in the RR-1 zoning district, on Lot 5 Plat of Lake 32, Section 33, T37N R14W, Town of Roosevelt.

Public notice is hereby given to all persons in the Town of Scott, Burnett County, Wisconsin, that Harold M. Johnson has made application for a conditional permit per the terms of the Burnett County Land Use Ordinance to keep livestock on his property located in the RR-2 zoning district, in Government Lot 6, Section 8, T40N R14W, Town of Scott.

Public notice is hereby given to all persons in the Town of Siren, Burnett County, Wisconsin, that Ryan and Laura Wolf have made application for a conditional permit per the terms of the Burnett County Land Use Ordinance for an expanded home occupation of a taxidermy shop, located in the RR-1 zoning district, on Lot 2 CSM V.6 P.18 in Government Lot 3, Section 3, T38N R16W, Town of Siren.
