SURVEYOR, LAND INFORMATION COMMITTEE MEETING
January 26, 2006

Present: Wayne Burmeister, Rick Anderson, Chris Sybers, Gene Olson, Kathy Swingle, and Carol Johnson.

Meeting called to order by Chair, Wayne Burmeister.

Motion made by Chris Sybers and seconded by Gene Olson to approve the minutes of the last meeting. Carried.

The County Surveyor's Report was reviewed.

The Land Information Report was reviewed. Kathy displayed a parcel map of the southeast quarter of section 16 of Trade Lake and the many problems with land descriptions in that area. An assessor's plat is needed to give clear title to many of the parcels. Kathy will approach the township regarding this need.

The property management system will be postponed. The conversion to the new tax assessment software throughout 2006 should be completed and running smoothly before it is addressed again.

Invoices were presented for approval. Motion made by Rick Anderson and seconded by Gene Olson to approve payment of the bills. Carried.

We will receive a grant in the amount of $49,300 toward aerial photography.
