SURVEYOR, LAND INFORMATION COMMITTEE MEETING
May 24, 2005

Present: Gene Olson, Wayne Burmeister, Rick Anderson, Sid Briggs, Kathy Swingle, and Carol Johnson.

Meeting called to order by Chair, Wayne Burmeister.

Motion made by Gene Olson and seconded by Rick Anderson to approve the minutes of the last meeting. Carried.

Motion made by Rick Anderson and seconded by Gene Olson to go into Closed Session. Voice vote - yes - Rick Anderson, Gene Olson, Wayne Burmeister.

Motion made by Gene Olson and seconded by Rick Anderson to go into Open Session. Carried.

The County Surveyor's Report was reviewed. Kathy received a call yesterday from a taxpayer who is very happy with our program and what it has to offer for the general public. The call was very much appreciated.

The Land Information Report was reviewed.

Discussion of fee for the replacement of fire/address number signs that have been damaged or stolen. Motion made by Rick Anderson and seconded by Gene Olson to set the replacement fee at $65.00 per sign, with $55.00 still going to the township. Carried.

Vouchers were presented for approval. Motion made by Rick Anderson and seconded by Gene Olson to approve payment of the vouchers. Carried.

Kathy presented a card and plaque, on behalf of the committee, to Sid Briggs for his many years of dedicated public service to our committee.

Motion made by Rick Anderson and seconded by Gene Olson to adjourn the meeting. Carried.
