SURVEYOR, LAND INFORMATION COMMITTEE MEETING
March 25, 2004

Present: Bert Lund, Wayne Burmeister, Susan Bohn, Mary Poretti, Sid Briggs, Kathy Swingle, and Carol Johnson.

Meeting called to order by Chair, Mary Poretti.

Motion made by Wayne Burmeister and seconded by Bert Lund to approve the minutes of the last meeting. Carried.

Motion made by Wayne Burmeister and seconded by Bert Lund to go into Closed Session. Carried.

Motion made by Bert Lund and seconded by Wayne Burmeister to reconvene into Open Session. Carried.

No action deemed necessary from Closed Session discussions.

The County Surveyor's Report was reviewed.

The Land Information Report was reviewed.

Summer Students: Plans are being made to work with Jeremy Treague in Eau Claire during the summer. He would be doing special projects. Andrea Lewis will not be coming back to work this summer. She will be working in her field of study. Kathy will be contacting the area Business Teachers to find a graduating senior interested in GIS.

There was a discussion of overtime and how to compensate for it. At the present time, our budget does not allow for payment of overtime.

Kathy led a discussion on the amount of traffic the B.L.I.S. website receives.

Vouchers were presented for approval. Motion made by Susan Bohn and seconded by Bert Lund to approve payment of the vouchers. Carried.
