Committee members present: Property Chairman Carsten Endresen, Supervisor James Engelhart and Supervisor David Alderman.

Also present: Lloyd Arnold, Airport Manager; Gary Faught, Maintenance Supervisor; and Crystal Bock, Public Heath Educator. Public Present: Mr. Kim Ellerman, President of The Evergreen Energy Group; and Mr. Mike Treat, hanger tenant. Press: Todd Beckmann, Burnett County Sentinel.

Chairman Endresen called the March 10th, 2006 meeting, of the Burnett County Property Committee, to order at 9:00 a.m.

Minutes of the February 10, 2005 Property Meeting: Motion to approve by Supervisor Engelhart, second by Supervisor Alderman. Motion approved.

Public Comments: None.

Presentation of services offered by the Evergreen Energy Group: Mr. Ellerman, made a presentation of his firm's expense recovery service via utility bill audits. Some discussion ensued. No action was taken by the committee at this time.

Lease Transfer: Airport Manager Arnold reported a request for a hanger lease transfer between Gerry Nelson, owner of the Burnett County Flying Service to Roger Spofford, Burnett County Power Line Service. Airport Manager Arnold recommended approval to the committee. Motion by Supervisor Engelhart to approve the lease transfer request, second Supervisor Alderman. Motion carried.

Airport Accounts Payable: Motion by Supervisor Alderman to approve February Airport accounts payable report totaling $343.70, second by Supervisor Engelhart. Motion carried.

Airport Report: Airport Manager Arnold reported on February Airport operations and projects. Items discussed: Runway extension construction is tentatively set to begin on 7 August 2006; some reported vandalism at Sky Harbor and Ashland Airports is prompting a look into a camera security system; and very slow fuel sales for February. Motion by Supervisor Engelhart to approve the report, second by Supervisor Alderman. Motion carried.

No smoking signage for Government Center Grounds: Public Heath Educator Bock made a presentation on suggested signage, quantity, and placement of no smoking signage the Burnett County Facility and Grounds, along with vehicles owned or leased by the county. Discussion ensued over concerns of over signage and placement of the additional no smoking signage. The committee determined that the request for signage in each County owned or lease vehicles needed to be made with the governing committee of any department that has a vehicle(s). Motion by Supervisor Alderman to approve the signage placement of 4 permanent signs at the Government Center's entrance ways (purchased by the Maintenance Department) and a 6 month placement of 10 to 14 laminated signs (made by the Public Health Department of HHS) on lamp posts in the parking areas and area immediately in front of the building - installed by the Maintenance Department, second by Supervisor Engelhart. Motion carried.

Maintenance Accounts Payable: Motion by Supervisor Alderman to approve the February accounts payable report, totaling $ 2,589.82 second by Supervisor Engelhart. Motion carried.

Maintenance Report: Maintenance Supervisor Faught reported on February Maintenance Department operations and projects. Items reported: Replacement of four defective fire detector heads in cell blocks C and G; Problems with the B02 garage door; and the testing of Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) with our telephone switch. Motion by Supervisor Alderman to approve the report, second by Supervisor Engelhart. Motion carried.
