Chairman Endresen called the September 29, 2005 meeting, of the joint Property/Airport Utilization Committee, to order at 1:30 p.m.

Public Comments: Ken Krietzmann thanked the Property Committee for considering comments and negotiating with the tenants hangar association on the airport lease.

Airport Lease Amendments: Airport Manager Arnold brought forward amendments to sections: 1, 2, 4, 9, 10, 13, 14, 19, 28, 31, 32 and 36 of the airport land lease for private hangars. Arnold addressed the proposed changes for each section. Arnold addressed the need to provide a lease that will be flexible enough to take Burnett County Airport well into the future while protecting the taxpayers of Burnett County. A general discussion ensued. Utilization Committee member Tollander raised a question about the need for section 36 (Compliance with Airport Operations Manual) before a manual has been prepared. Utilization Committee member Tollander recommended that the Property Committee implement and send the lease out for tenant signatures with Manager Arnold's recommendations and section 36 omitted from the lease. Motion by Supervisor Alderman to amend the lease with recommended amendments and omission of section 36, second by Supervisor Engelhart. Motion carried

Motion by Chairman Endresen to close the September 29, 2005 joint Property/Airport Utilization Committee meeting, second by Supervisor Alderman. Motion carried.
