Chairman Endresen called the September 8th, 2005 meeting, of the Burnett County Property Committee, to order at 9:00 a.m.
Minutes of the August 9, 2005 Property Meeting: Motion to approve by Supervisor Alderman, second by Supervisor Engelhart. Motion approved.
Public Comments: None
Airport Accounts Payable: Motion by Supervisor Alderman to approve August Airport accounts payable report totaling $4,470.24, second by Supervisor Engelhart. Motion carried.
Airport Report: Airport Manager Arnold reported on August Airport operations and projects. Items reported: Fuel tank changes have been delayed until the first half of October; fuel sales continue to rise. Motion by Supervisor Engelhart to approve the report, second by Supervisor Alderman. Motion carried.
Transfer of Maintenance Assets to Highway Department: Maintenance Supervisor Faught reported that asset tag #1867, the excess Iwatsu Telephone Switch, and asset tag #1249 the old voice mail system computer, from the Maintenance Department was transferred to the Highway Department as part of the Highway Department phone system upgrade. Motion by Supervisor Engelhart to approve, second by Supervisor Alderman. Motion carried.
Discussion of the expiration of the Johnson Controls Energy Performance Contract and Maintenance Service Agreement: Maintenance Supervisor Faught reported that the ten year agreement between Johnson Controls and the County would expire on 30 June 2006. Discussion ensued. The committee requested that additional variables be looked into and to report back next month.
Discuss status of the Building's Fire Alarm System: Maintenance Supervisor Faught reported some problems with the existing fire alarm panel and the initial assessment from the service technician. Discussion ensued. The committee requested that the maintenance supervisor to report back next month once additional information be obtained.
Maintenance Accounts Payable: Motion by Supervisor Alderman to approve the August accounts payable report, totaling $4,794.90 second by Supervisor Engelhart. Motion carried.
Maintenance Report: Maintenance Supervisor Faught reported on August Maintenance Department operations and projects. Items reported: Continued work on the phone system installation at the Highway Department, the Government Centers Fire Alarm System, and the 911 system UPS being serviced. Motion by Supervisor Alderman to approve the report, second by Supervisor Engelhart. Motion carried.
Future Agenda Items: Follow ups on the fire alarm system, Johnson Controls Contract, and the smoking ordnance input from HHS.
Motion by Chairman Endresen to close the August Property Meeting, second by Supervisor Alderman. Motion carried.
