as presented to include payment for the "room service charge" as indicated

AGENDA:
NRCS - TOM FREDRICKSON
o Reviewed response to 2005 EQIP sign-up. All Burnett County requests have been funded ($270,000) including 1 manure digester.
o CRP sign up coming in March or April.
o 1 Revised farm plan. Motion by Duane Johnson/2nd Jim Engelhart to approve the revised farm plan for Kevin Peterson as presented. Motion carried.
WILDLIFE DAMAGE PROGRAM - CINDY BLONK
o Reviewed Act 82 (AB 166) which allows a person to get a shooting permit for ag damage without having to allow public hunting on the property provided they do not accept a monetary payment for damages.
o Jim Melin has still not turned in his paperwork for the 1 claim that would potentially be approved.
o Deer donation program sounds like it will go forward this year but may not start until June or July.
UPDATE SHORELINE BUFFER STANDARDS - DAVE FERRIS
o Dave reviewed the proposed updates to the Shoreline Buffer Standards. Motion by Duane Johnson/2nd Wayne Burmeister to approve updates to the Shoreline Buffer Standards as presented. Motion carried.
LAKE PLANNING GRANT - DAVE FERRIS
o Motion to approve/adopt/support the resolution to apply for a DNR Lake Planning Grant and to give Dave Ferris the authority to act on behalf of Burnett County in regards to this grant as outlined in the resolution. Motion carried.
AQUATIC INVASIVE INTERN POSITION - DAVE FERRIS
o Reviewed the position description and the new position analysis for the proposed Aquatic Invasive Species Intern. Motion by Jim Engelhart/2nd Wayne Burmeister to approve the request and specifics for an Aquatic Invasive Species Intern and to move the process forward to the Human Resources Department. Motion carried.
WALCE RECAP - DAVE FERRIS
o Dave reviewed the recent WALCE annual conference, the sessions attended, and programs forthcoming.
COUNTY CONSERVATIONIST REPORT - DAVE FERRIS
o We have sent the letter regarding Exceptional and Outstanding Resource Waters.
o Covered a proposal to discontinue the FPP program and change to a PDR program.
o Progress update on Spring Stream Monitoring Workshops (One 4H group so far)
o Recapped the RC&D Meeting
o 4/7 Burnett Dairy will have an open house - reviewing food plots
o Reviewed the recap of credits given via the FPP program.
o Reviewed the recap of the Hazardous Sweep program.
Judy Dykstra brought in a voucher for a charge from the Register of Deeds that was missed on the final expense report, but was paid. Motion by Duane Johnson/2nd Jim Engelhart to approve payment of the voucher even though it missed the monthly report. Motion carried.
