CALL TO ORDER: 9:40 a.m. by Charlie Peterson

MINUTES APPROVAL: Motion by Duane Johnson /2nd Wayne Burmeister to approve the minutes as presented. Motion carried.

FINANCE REPORT APPROVAL: Motion by Wayne Burmeister /2nd Duane Johnson to approve the finance report as presented.
Motion carried.

AGENDA:

NRCS - Tom Fredrickson

*No conservation plans. Gave a brief status update on on-going programs.

WILDLIFE DAMAGE PROGRAM - Dave Ferris

*2005 budget was discussed. Motion by Duane Johnson/2nd Jim Engelhart to approve the 2005 budget as presented.
Motion carried.
*Will wait until December meeting to set the closure date for claims. Still a lot of crops out on the fields.
*Discussed a resolution stating frustration with the transfer of funds from the WDP to the CWD program. Will send a letter at this time and wait on responses.

CONSERVATION SPEAKING CONTEST RECAP - Ann Lane

*Gave a recap of this year's contest; announced winners; circulated pictures from speaking contest and poster contest awards.

TRI-COUNTY SOIL JUDGING RECAP - Dave Ferris & Ann Lane

*A recap was given of the day's events and the scoring outcome. Burnett will host event next year.

WLWCA BY-LAWS - Dave Ferris

*Motion by Wayne Burmeister/2nd Jim Engelhart to allow Dave Ferris to vote at the annual WLWCA meeting if Charlie Peterson is absent. Motion carried.
*Dave reviewed 2 resolutions that will be presented at the WLWCA meeting in December: Locally Led Conservation; LCC Authority: and Proposed WLWCA structural change.

OTHER BUSINESS

*Dave reviewed the status of Condo Associations being ineligible for incentives under the Shoreline Incentive Program.
*Dave reviewed the proposed "tier" formula for allocation of SWRM funding.
*Discussed the grant application for Eurasian Water Milfoil intern.
*Jim Engelhart gave a recap of the state RC&D conference held in LaCrosse.
