Ed Peterson called the April 12, 2004 meeting of the Land Committee to order at 8:45 a.m. in Room 163 at the Burnett County Government Center. Members present: Melvin Daniels and Edgar Peterson. Others present: Helen Steffen, Bernadine Olson and Judy Dykstra.

Mel Daniels made a motion, second by Ed Peterson, to approve the minutes of the March 15, 2004 Land Committee meeting. Motion carried.

Mel Daniels made a motion, second by Ed Peterson, to approve the resolution "Authorizing the Issuance of Tax Deeds" to be presented to the next County Board meeting. Motion carried. The resolution includes the following parcel: Lot 2, Certified Survey Map No. 1289 recorded in Volume 6, pages 229 and 230, as Doc. #212709, in the office of the Register of Deeds for Burnett County, Wisconsin and being located in the SW Fr. ¼ NW ¼, Section 7, Township 38 North, of Range 18 West, Burnett County, Wisconsin.

Update on land for sale: three parcels from the June 20, 2003 land sale are still for sale.

Ed Peterson made a motion, second by Mel Daniels, to approve the resolution "Acceptance of the Hwy 35 Wayside Ownership" effective January 1, 2005. Motion carried. The wayside is located 2.5 miles south of Siren in the SW ¼ NW ¼, Section 32, Township 38 North, Range 16 West.
