A Joint meeting of the Industrial Development Agency Ltd. Board and BCDA was called to order at 1:30 p.m. on December 7, 2005, at the Burnett County Government Center, Room 165.

BCIDA Members present: Mark Dahlberg, Merlin Johnson, Rick Anderson, Joanne Pahl, Phil Lindeman, Glenn Meier, and Wanda Hinrichs. Absent: David Grindell, Larry Main and Mike Kornmann. Present from BCDA: Rick Anderson, Ed Peterson, Ted Gerber, Derek Zeiler, Stan Peer, John Richards, Mark Crowl, Chuck Govin. Others present: John Stroschine of Northwest Regional Planning Commission, Nancy Jappe of the Inter-County Leader and Todd Beckman of the Burnett County Sentinel.

A motion by Merlin Johnson, seconded by Phil Lindeman to approve the minutes of the August 3, 2005 meeting. Motion carried.

Rick Anderson gave a brief update on information from the Regional Planning Committee on the Revolving Loan Fund.

John Stroshine continued the discussion and sharing of information on the Regional Revolving Loan Fund Program. John detailed on the changes and flexibility of the funds is they became Regional, the history of the Revolving Loan Fund and the guidelines the Department of Commerce enforces with these funds.

Larry Main now present at 1:50 p.m.

Options were discussed amongst members of both committees whether it would be to the counties advantage to keep things as they are or enter into a Regional Fund Program.

Discussion continued with questions and answers concerning all aspects and possibilities of entering into a Regional Loan Fund Program. Several other Revolving Loan Funds in our region have passed or are in the processing of bringing a Resolution forward to enter into the Regional Fund.

No recommendation was made at this time by Burnett County Industrial Development Agency or BCDA.
