Citizen Participation Plan Meeting

This is to notify all residents of Burnett County that in accordance with the requirements of Burnett County's Citizen Participation Plan, a public hearing will be held at the time and location indicated above.

This is the second public hearing to be held in regards to the Wisconsin Community Development Block Grant Economic Development (CDBG-MVP ED) Program, Grant Contracts #MVP-ED FY05-11453 (Four Cubs Farm) and #MVP-ED FY05-11555 (Ringa-Lea Farms, Inc.) The purpose of this hearing is to provide the citizens of Burnett County with an opportunity to comment on the progress of the CDBG-MVP ED projects, the meeting of program goals and objectives, and the proposed closeout of the CDBG-MVP ED projects.

The projects included the purchase, of additional dairy cattle for the two businesses to facilitate their expansion and increased milk production. CDBG-MVP ED activities must benefit low-and moderate-income persons through the creation and/or retention of jobs.

All interested citizens are invited to attend the public hearing and provide input on these Economic Development projects. Written comments may also be sent by August 17, 2005 to:
