BURNETT COUNTY BOARD OF CANVASSERS
APRIL 7, 2005


The Canvas Board canvassed the votes cast at the April 5, 2005 Spring Election for State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Judicial offices, State and County Referendums.

Canvassers present: County Clerk Wanda Hinrichs, Helen Steffen and Barbara Johnson.

Town of Blaine: The number of votes was incorrect on the County Referendum Question #2. There were two signatures instead of the required three on the front of the ballot bag.

Town of Dewey: There were only two signatures on the Inspector Statement instead of the required three (Karen Vanderhoof was listed twice). The number of voters was not listed on the Tally Sheet.

Town of Jackson: The number of voters was not listed on the Tally Sheet.

Town of Lincoln: The Town Tally Sheet was sent to the Clerk's office.

Town of Meenon: The Chief Inspector did not sign the Inspector Statement.

Town of Oakland: The number of voters was not listed on the Tally Sheet.

Town of Roosevelt: The Town Tally Sheet was sent to the Clerk's office.

Town of Scott: Both Inspector Statement forms were sent to the Clerk's office.

Town of Webb Lake: The number of voters was not listed on the Tally Sheet. The date of the election was missing on the election bag.

Town of West Marshland: A number was filled in on the Inspector Statement in the Provisional Ballot section, (there are no provisional ballots in this election).

Town of Wood River: The times worked by poll workers were not listed on the Inspector Statement.

Village of Grantsburg: Incorrect totals for Bradley and Peterson were listed on the Tally Sheet.

Village of Webster: The number of voters and the absentee voters were not entered on the Inspector Statement.
