The original contracts with Webpenguin were gone over and discussed. The site had 60,000 hits last month. It was noted that the site is becoming more of a county website rather than a business development site.

Motion to approve signing the contract made by Stan Peer; seconded by Kelly Hibbs. Motion carried.

NWRPC CONTRACT RECOMMENDATION:

Ted Gerber stated the contract for NWRPC services was due for renewal. Gerber stated, in looking at the contract, that services 1, 2, 3 & 5 have been provided over the last year, but questioned whether 4 (develop at least one new Wisconsin Development Fund Loan Application) & 6 (provide semi-annual reports on the state of the Burnett County Revolving Loan Fund to include, but not limited to current balance of fund, loan activity and pending applications) have been provided. Discussion of the matter resulted in the decision that Ted Gerber will write a letter to NWRPC asking to negotiate the contract. The contract cannot be signed until points are negotiated. Gerber will get a letter out by the end of next week.
