CALL TO ORDER:
Meeting called to order by Steve Zelinski at 11:10 a.m. in the banquet room
of the Pour House in Siren, WI on February 2, 2005.
Zelinski asked that board members and guests introduce themselves.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Motion made by Peer, seconded by Zeiler to approve the minutes of the January
5, 2005 meeting Motion carried.
APPROVAL OF VOUCHERS:
Motion by Gerber, second by Peer to approve vouchers totaling $370.50. Gerber
asked County Board Chairman about paying the ITBEC dues. Main noted that not
all counties were paying their full amount. ITBEC is working on a regional map
of business and industrial parks and enterprise centers. Motion carried.
APPROVAL OF 2004 ANNUAL
MEETING MINUTES
Motion by Peterson, seconded by Crowl to approve the minutes as submitted. Motion
carried.
NOMINATIONS FOR THE
BOARD OF DIRECTORS - JOHN RICHARDS
Richards stated that the nominations committee nominated Zelinski for President,
Gerber for Vice President and Kelly Hibbs for Secretary/Treasurer. Motion made
by Anderson, seconded by Crowl to approve the nominations. Motion carried. The
nomination committee nominated Mark Crowl to represent Webb Lake and Chuck Govin
to represent Danbury. Motion by Peer, seconded by Gerber to approve the nominations.
Motion carried.
ANNUAL REPORT FOR 2004
ACTIVITIES
Kornmann reported the activities of BCDA in 2004 that included strategic Planning
activities and tech zone tax credits. John Strochine reported the activities
NWRPC worked on under contract with BCDA. Those activities included loan applications
and business assistance to businesses in Burnett County.
Motion to adjourn by Peer, second by Zeiler. Motion Carried.
