Burnett Community Library

The library is conveniently located on Main Street in the Village of Webster and is open Monday through Friday 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The major roles of the library are its Preschoolers Doorway to Learning and its Popular Reading Materials.
The library provides a computerized database identifying materials owned by other libraries in the Northern Waters Library System.
The Burnett Community Library is one of 27 libraries in the NWLS system and is in good standing with the NWLS located in Ashland, Wisconsin offering interlibrary loan as a service to the area patrons making available the following:
-Internet Access
-Wireless Service
-Computer used for word processing and spreadsheet
-Large Print Books and Large Print Magazines
-Computer games on CD-ROM for children
-Books for all ages
-Periodical references and magazines
-Preschoolers kits
-Audiovisuals
-Tutor Training for adults
STORYTIME: Every Wednesday from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. through the month of June. Offered are fun stories told with a lot of expression, a child friendly environment, and creative activities. There is emphasis on individual attention limiting the size to a small group of between 10 and 15 children. It is preferred a parent or daycare provider be present with their child during storytime.
BOOK CLUB: members meet the 4th Tuesday of the month at 10:00 a.m. The club members select which books they will read and review. They have a lot of fun. Come and join them at the library.
ADULT CRAFT GROUP: Meets every Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 12 Noon. Members bring knitting, crocheting, embroidery to include hardanger, beading or whatever portable project they wish to work on. They share tips, stories and events happening in Burnett County. They have a lot of fun, come join them at the library.
FRIENDS OF THE BURNETT COMMUNITY LIBRARY: A group exploring how to raise funds for the library and to help within whenever needed and to be a voice in the community for the needs of the library. They meet the second Thursday of the month at 9:00 a.m.
