In every community people may experience problems, which can seriously impede their level of functioning and impact their relationships with family, friends, and the larger community. State law (51.42) requires Wisconsin Counties to determine what public help will be offered to those struggling with mental illness and chemical dependency. The Mental Health/AODA programs were developed by Burnett County to purchase and provide services to protect and improve the quality of life for all of its residents.
Burnett County’s Mental Health/AODA program promotes individual and family self-sufficiency by providing a coordinated continuum of services.
