The Burnett County Land Use Plan provides basic guidelines for development as well as ways to maintain the rural character of the county. Because the plan is generally broad in focus and there are many ways to implement the desired plan objectives, it is recommended that detailed town and village plans with more specific guidelines be prepared using the countywide plan as a base
