Mission and Organization

The mission of the Burnett County Development Association is to create economic opportunities for the residents, businesses, and communities of Burnett County.

BCDA was incorporated in 1985 as a result of concern for the economic well being of the communities and businesses in Burnett County. Businesses and local units of government cooperated to create an organization that would work on a county-wide basis to improve job opportunities, business retention, financing, marketing, and infrastructure. Since then has helped to build a strong economy that includes manufacturing, retail, tourism, and agriculture.
